Post match: Mike Rotunda and Kevin Sullivan comes down, they beat up Scott, which brings down Rick who fights both men back. Rick goes for a clothesline but Rotunda ducks, allowing them to attack Steiner again. Rick runs in with a briefcase and finally Rotunda/Sullivan bail.

Match Thoughts: This was actually just as the official tag team of "The Steiner Brothers" was forming, which is why I included the not-related post match. I guess you could say it has historical value as their first feud as a tag team was against Kevin Sullivan and Mike Rotunda. Course by the fall the Steiners were one of the most popular tag teams in WCW. As for the match, the sudden ending was a disappointment as it was really shaping up to be a good back and forth match. The crowd was really behind Steiner, which shows his face power since Muta was generally cheered as well. But the ending was so sudden it just deflated the crowd, so I can't give this match a great score. Score: 4.5
