Great Mota vs. George South and Bob Emory
on April 9th, 1989

Event: NWA WCW Main Event
Location: Unknown
Attendance:  Unknown

Mota starts the match by meditating and spraying green mist in the air, but Emory gets too close and he gets misted in the face as well! Mota chops South as he gets in the ring and knocks him to the mat. Mota applies a claw hold to South, Emory grabs him but Mota knocks him in the corner with a flipping back kick. Mota throws South out of the ring and then knocks Emory out of the ring with a back kick. Mota then goes to the ropes and sails out onto Emory with a pescado. Mota gets back in the ring and punches South until he falls out of the ring. South rolls back in, Mota picks him up, snapmare, and he hits the Flashing Elbow. Irish whip by Mota to the corner and he delivers the Space Rolling Elbow. Rib breaker by Mota, he goes up top and nails the moonsault onto South. Cover, and he picks up the three count! Your winner: The Great Mota

Match Thoughts: This match was basically just a one minute highlight reel as Muta his all his big moves and finished his opponents in quick order. In a way this is a more impressive squash as he beat two wrestlers in no time at all, didn't get hurt, and looked very impressive in the process. WCW didn't do a lot right, but this build for Muta was definitely one of the things that was executed perfectly at least through the fall of 1989. Score: 6.5
