Great Mota vs. Cruel Connection #1 and #2
on April 1st, 1989

Event: NWA World Championship Wrestling
Location: Atlanta, GA
Announced Attendance: Unknown

Tie-up to start, Mota punches Cruel Connection #1 and kicks Cruel Connection #2. Mota throws Cruel Connection #1 out of the ring and then sails out onto him with a pescado. Mota gets up to the top turnbuckle and hits a missile dropkick onto Cruel Connection #2 back in the ring and he hits him with the Space Rolling Elbow. Dragon suplex hold by Mota to Cruel Connection #2 and he picks up the three count! Your winner: Great Mota

Match Thoughts: I don't know which was #1 and which was #2, and I have no idea why they were wrestling in green outfits. Anyway, this is the shortest Muta match so far in WCW and against two wrestlers no less, but he debuted a different finshing move which just shows how many tricke he had up his sleeve when he first entered the promotion. He is doing moves that American wrestling fans have never seen before each week, which is one of the reasons that he became popular. And he still hasn't used the poison mist as an attack yet, which is argubly his move that gets the best reaction. Obviously way too short to be must-see, but a nce squash. Score: 5.0
