Great Muta and Terry Funk vs. Greg Evans and Lee Scott
on October 7th, 1989

Event: NWA/WCW Pro
Location: Unknown
Attendance:  Unknown

Funk and Evans start things off. Tie-up, Funk pushes Evans into the ropes but he gives a clean break. They circle each other, tie-up again, Funk pushes Evans in the ropes but this time he chops him in the chest. Punches by Funk, Irish whip, reversed, but Funk kicks Evans in the head. Funk throws Evans out of the ring and Muta throws Evans into the guard rail. Muta slides Evans back in, Funk picks him up but Evans rolls up Funk for a two count. Evans tags in Scott, and Funk elbows Scott in the back of the head. Piledriver by Funk to Scott and he tags in Muta. Muta picks up Scott, rib breaker, he goes up to the top turnbuckle and nails the moonsault. Cover, and he picks up the three count. Your winners: Great Muta and Terry Funk

Match Thoughts: More squash-y than there other jobber tag team match. The match does a good job of asserting Muta and Funk as a dominate tag team, although they weren't a tag team in the sense they were going for medals, just as a team to fight against the Four Horsemen. I'd say it was too easy for Muta, but Funk did plant Scott with a piledriver and since he is a jobber it came out fine. An acceptable squash match. Score: 5.5
